Photo requirements
- Photo size must be 35 x 45 mm.
- Use a light_grey background.
- Head height should fill 70-80% of the photo.
- Eye line should be about 55% up from the bottom edge.
- Minimum resolution: 413 x 531 px at 300 DPI.
- Background and face should be evenly lit with no shadows.
- Face should be fully visible and centered.
- Keep a neutral facial expression.
- Keep your mouth closed.
- Both eyes must be open and visible.
- Natural skin tone, no flash reflections
- Photo must be taken within the last 6 months.
- Submit a color photo.
- Do not retouch or digitally alter the photo.
- No selfies or semi-profile shots
- Head coverings allowed only for religious reasons, must not obscure the face
- Photo must be sharp, correctly exposed and undamaged
- Note: photos are taken at the police office when applying in Sweden
