- Head height should fill 70-80% of the photo.
- Eye line should be about 55% up from the bottom edge.
- Minimum resolution: 413 x 531 px at 300 DPI.
- A current biometric photo is required
- Photo size must be 35x45mm in portrait format
- Frontal view following German biometric passport-photo standards
- Uniform light background with good contrast to face and hair
- Keep a neutral facial expression.
- Keep your mouth closed.
- Both eyes must be open and visible.
- In practice the same biometric portrait standard is used as for German identity documents
